    West Penn Testing Group utilizes immersion c-scan ultrasonic, magnetic particle, as well as fluorescent and visible dye penetrant inspection to evaluate the quality and integrity of billets, bars, forgings and plates. These non-destructive testing services can be used to evaluate all types of ferrous metals, alloys, specialty metals and metallic components.

  • Spectrochemical Testing

    West Penn Testing Group offers a variety of testing methods to evaluate the composition, quality and integrity of iron, steels, alloys and specialty metals. Our chemical testing services are also used to evaluate glass, ceramics, raw materials, cements and concretes, slag, corrosion, refractory bricks and castings, anions and aggregates.

    West Penn Testing Group provides physical testing services, metallurgical evaluation, tensile, impact and hardness evaluation, failure analysis and specialized testing services to manufacturing organizations around the world. We perform material evaluation tests with precision, using proven procedures and methods designed to accommodate the most challenging projects.

All testing services are conducted in our fully equipped facilities and are tailored directly to specific client needs. We maintain 69,500 square feet of testing space, and can handle samples up to 20,000 pounds, 48" in diameter and 32 feet in length.
